Leaf blowers are tools that are used to blow leaves and other debris from yards, sidewalks, and other outdoor areas. The first leaf blowers were invented in the 1950s, and were initially used by professional landscapers and groundskeepers.
These early leaf blowers were large, gasoline-powered machines that were mounted on wheels and had a long nozzle that could be aimed in different directions.
In the 1970s, small, hand-held leaf blowers were introduced. These blowers were designed for use by homeowners and small landscaping businesses, and were much more portable and easy to use than the earlier, larger models. In the 1980s and 1990s, the use of leaf blowers became more widespread, and they became a common tool for maintaining yards and gardens and even blowing snow off sidewalks and driveways
Today, there are many different types of leaf blowers available, including gas-powered models and electric models. Leaf blowers are used by homeowners, landscapers, and groundskeepers to clear leaves and other debris from lawns, sidewalks, and other outdoor spaces. There are handheld Blowers today.
